Hello Tom, My name is Kyle Hough. I have just finished reading your first book "Dog Talk" Starting Your Dog. It was excellent! By far the best and most sensible advice I have received to this point. I was wondering how many other books there are in this training series and how do I order them? I certainly enjoy your outlook on training and have made some of the mistakes you talked about. I feel sort of dumb now thinking that maybe the dog I had before, my first, wasn't so worthless after all. He did exactly what I taught him...nothing. Tom, I just finished reading your book and am very impressed with it. I hunt bear, bobcat and coon and the training will certainly fit for all. Tom, I got a copy of your book from my brother. He knows that I like to train my own dogs and had told me that he had gotten a good training book that he thought I'd enjoy. I have been reading it and enjoy it very much. I enjoy your insight and perspective on things. I may have some questions for you down the road and think that your guarantee of support in the future is something that you don't see very much nowadays. Hey Tom, I have talked to you several times via email and the advice you have given me has been straight forward and thus far has always done the trick. I would like to subscribe to the newsletter. I also purchased the book Starting Your Dog, today and look forward to reading it. I'm anxious to get it as I have a new young dog that I would like to see make it. Tom, I just received my copy of "Dog Talk" Starting Your Dog and I can't put it down. It all makes perfect sense. I can see now why some of the pups I have had in the past didn't have a chance. I also see that I was doing a lot of this type of training when I made the time to do it. Those pups were the pups that I liked and that started sooner. I just didn't know the reason. I WILL be ordering the other book just as soon as I finish this one. Thanks again, Darren M. |

I just wanted to let you know that I got my pup on Sunday (I had already read your book no less than two times) and I found myself reading the chapters and sections that I can apply now both last night and tonight and I'm sure I'll read the material again tomorrow. He's going to be the best redbone out there when he gets older!!! I want to thank you for the time and effort that you put into the the book that I got from you, I'm sure I'm one of MANY that has gotten it from you but you have done a great thing for those of us who are new to raising and training a new pup. I have received the book. I am almost half way through it and I really am enjoying it. There really is alot of useful info in there. Most of it is so obvious, but you just don't think about what the dog is actually thinking. I have not been able to find any other books on this subject to equal what is in yours, and am so glad I found yours. I'm sure I'll purchase the rest of the series soon. Thanks again, Dave P. . |
I have your book "Dog Talk", Starting Your Dog and have ordered the book "Dog Talk", Conversations. I am 61 and have had hunting dogs all my life, but never knew how to properly train one. I am now retired and have time. I purchased a 5 mo. Ladner Yellow Black Mouth Cur male and a 2 mo. female. They are responding well to voice tone as described in Starting Your Dog. This is the best material I have ever seen for training a dog. Ken P. |

Finall, a book that contains the step by step instructions that we need and the explanations on how and why things work. I can't believe the way my dog is responding to your methods.
